UBREAKIFIX Field Technicians travel to customer locations in a company van to repair mobile devices and deliver an award-winning customer experience. The role combines on-site repairs with days in our retail store, requiring strong problem-solving and a passion for technology.

Expected duties include diagnosing and repairing devices, meeting scheduled appointments, and keeping customers informed. The position offers in-house training and competitive pay with commissions based on performance.

Our Field Technicians drive to customer locations in a company provided van to repair their electronic devices while delivering our award-winning personalized customer experience.

This position involves driving to the customer's location to repair mobile device in company van on some days, and Also working in our retail store on other days.

• Driving to customer's location repairing customer devices.
• Fulfilling pre set appointments on locations of customer's location.
• Resolve customer issues by troubleshooting and repairing their electronic devices.
• Sell personalized product solutions that meet customer needs.

You Are a Good Fit If You Have

• Must be 25 years of age or older to apply. No exceptions.
• Six months experience with product service support or electronics troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of mobile devices and operating systems.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Safely travel to customer sites and arrive within the scheduled appointment window using a company vehicle.
• Inform customers of job status (route status, Arrived, etc.).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair devices.
• Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand.
• Ensure that all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standards.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner and maintain a positive work environment.
• Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior customer service and exceeding customer expectations.
• Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all van stock.
• Utilize the point-of-sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and a real-time status of each repair.

As An In Store Tech

• Resolve customer issues by troubleshooting and repairing their electronic devices.
• Learn and apply the details of the Connected Home product, how to gain an understanding of the customer's technology, and how to offer and sell protection/tech support solutions to customers to meet their needs.
• Perform in your role and achieve your goals by performing in sales, providing excellent service and technical/repair support, and creating satisfied customers, in accordance with Asurion's Core Values.
• Repair Cell phones, Computers, Tablets and Gaming Systems.
• Keeping front of house clean.
• Selling Product and services we offer.
