Job summary

UBREAKIFIX is seeking a customer-focused technician to work in our Metairie retail store, LA. You will troubleshoot and repair phones, tablets, computers, and gaming systems, while delivering world-class customer service and expanding knowledge of Asurion protection plans.

You’ll work in a retail environment, providing solutions-based support, and may be asked to assist across metro area locations. Competitive pay with commissions and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Background check, drug test and driving record required.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Willingness to learn and leverage sales resources provided by Asurion.
• Flexible retail schedule and ability to work across multiple metro area locations.

License/Certification:

We sell solutions-based products and services by building authentic connections with customers that drive long-lasting relationships. The technician will work inside a retail store, and be trained in repairing devices such as phones, tablets, gaming systems and computers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Resolving customer issues by troubleshooting and repairing their electronic devices.


• Consultative approach in offering and selling Asurion Connected Home Services.


• Expand your knowledge of Asurion’s products and culture.


• Deliver world class and professional customer service.


• Flexibility to work at any of our locations in the metro area.


• Resolve customer issues by troubleshooting and repairing their electronic devices.


• Learn and apply the details of the Connected Home product, how to gain an understanding of the customer's technology, and how to offer and sell protection/tech support solutions to customers to meet their needs.


• Repair Cell phones, Computers, Tablets and Gaming Systems.


• Keeping front of house clean.


• Selling Product and services we offer.

Compensation:

• Competitive pay.


• High Commissions on selling Asurion Services, accessories, etc.


• Continuing corporate education and paid training.


• Pay increase after 90 days, 1 year, 2 years. Contingent on evaluation.

Pay Rate:

$14-$16 per hour to start (depending on experience) Plus Commissions.

Job Purpose:

Serve customers by providing the best repair solution and experience along with selling Asurion Device Protection Services.
