Job summary

Trane Technologies is hiring for an on-site HVAC technician responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up systems in commercial environments. You will work with blueprints and various tools, coordinating with project teams and customers.

At least a high school diploma is required, with 0–2 years in HVAC preferred. EPA certification is desirable; a valid driver’s license is essential. The role offers a base hourly pay range and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; 0–2 years HVAC experience preferred.
Operates Microsoft Office; comfortable using handheld devices (phone/tablet).
Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with clean record.
EPA Certification preferred (HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, etc.).

Responsibilities

Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation/repair needs.
Serve as the direct customer contact; diagnose and repair equipment at the site.
Use blueprints/engineering specs and hand-tools to diagnose and repair units.
Occasional overtime, weekend work, and some overnight stays as required.
Maintain safety, asset security, and record usage and wear.
