Job summary

Fortis Industries in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a full-time HVAC Technician to perform inspection and maintenance of building mechanical systems on-site. You will report to the Program Manager and may travel to other contract locations as required.

The role requires 2+ years in Operations & Maintenance, proficiency with MS Office, and strong communication skills. You will manage timekeeping, prepare estimates, and coordinate with vendors for repairs. Union benefits and salary apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in Operations & Maintenance of building systems including HVAC, Fire Suppression, Environmental and Water Treatment procedures.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project) and strong written and oral communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to create estimates; familiar with RS Means.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair building mechanical systems and related services.
• Maintain schedules and log timekeeping daily with Tsheets.
• Handle a fast-paced environment and stay organized.
• Order replacement items and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
• Submit receipts weekly to corporate for processing.
• Perform additional duties within contractual responsibilities as required.
• Issue reports and summaries as needed.
• Maintain records and statistics for administrative and regulatory purposes.
• Conduct onsite inspections and follow up with clients for satisfactory performance.
