Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site HVAC/Controls technician to commission, program, and install direct digital control systems on varied projects. You will troubleshoot, validate sequences, and complete job close-out while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3–5 years HVAC/Controls experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; handheld device literacy.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• DDC controls system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Commission, program, set up graphics, communications link, end-to-end testing; troubleshoot and service on assigned projects.
• Document point-to-point verification and sequence of operations validation; close-out requirements.
• Serve as direct customer contact; service products and equipment on-site; ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing issues.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs; forecast issues and gather materials.
• Keep current on Trane products for installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of direct digital control systems.
• Enforce safety standards; manage assets; record usage and conditions.
• Display teamwork; be flexible for overtime or overnight stays as needed.
