Job summary

ISS Facility Services - North America seeks an on-site Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to lead day-to-day HSE at the Thousand Oaks location. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, safety culture, and collaboration with the HSE team and client personnel.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety with 5+ years in HSE, strong written communication, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Occupational health & safety or equivalent with 5+ years in HSE.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong technical writing ability.
• Ability to manage competing priorities from various stakeholders.
• ISO 9001/14001/45001 experience is a plus.
• Willing to travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Establish a visible HSE presence at all locations and act as an internal SME for site HSE.
• Maintain positive relations with ISS and client employees and regulators.
• Be a safety influencer to achieve cultural change and enforce requirements.
• Support and administer regulatory programs including LOTO, Hazard Communication, Emergency Action Plan, etc.
• Assist with incident management and root cause analysis.
