Job summary

Phillips Staffing seeks an experienced On-Site Human Resources Coordinator to support a manufacturing facility in West Union, SC. This role is the primary HR resource for site staff and collaborates closely with site management and the broader HR team.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, sound judgment, and at least 2 years’ HR experience in manufacturing or fast-paced environments, handling payroll, onboarding, attendance, coaching, and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience handling day-to-day HR responsibilities in manufacturing or fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills and sound judgment are essential.
• Experience partnering with site management and HR teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day Human Resources functions for assigned employees.
• Process payroll for employees at the manufacturing site.
• Conduct facility tours and orientation activities for new hires.
• Provide employee counseling, coaching and guidance.
• Track and monitor employee attendance.
• Administer disciplinary actions per company policies.
• Conduct employee performance reviews as scheduled.
• Prepare and maintain HR reports (attendance, KPI, headcount, new hires, terminations, etc.).
• Meet regularly with site management and the HR team.
• Manage workplace injury processes and follow-up.
• Monitor production-floor compliance with safe work practices.
• Conduct exit interviews.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
• Perform other HR-related responsibilities as assigned.
