Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking an on-site HR Business Partner for a Pittsburgh-area consumer products plant. You will be the go-to HR resource for ~80 hourly and salaried staff, partnering with plant management while staying visible on the production floor.

You’ll coach leaders through employee relations, support union-related matters, drive recruiting and onboarding, ensure compliance with employment law, and partner with corporate HR on process improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5+ years in HR within manufacturing or warehousing
• Union environment experience preferred; strong candidates without it who show they can pick it up will be considered
• Able to handle sensitive employee matters independently and judge when escalation is warranted
• Builds trust easily with everyone from the floor to the front office
• HRIS experience a plus, especially helping with an implementation
• Must be local; relocation is not offered

Aufgaben

• Act as the single point of HR contact for a plant of roughly 80 employees
• Coach plant leaders through employee relations issues, performance conversations, and conflict
• Work alongside corporate HR on union grievances and labor relations
• Drive site-level recruiting, onboarding, and retention
• Keep the site in line with employment law and company policy
• Stay visible on the production floor so employees know who to come to
• Help roll out HR systems and process improvements
• Report site trends and concerns up to HR leadership
