The role delivers day-to-day HR support, standardizes practices, and partners with the HR leader to maintain a safe, compliant workplace. You will manage payroll and HRIS (Paylocity), oversee onboarding, performance cycles, employee relations, benefits, and leave management, and help scale HR processes as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; 7+ years generalist HR experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of US employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO) and practical application.
• Experience supporting HR operations in Canada, with familiarity with provincial employment standards.
• Hands-on Paylocity experience for maintaining employee data, running reports, and supporting payroll processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site HR contact for employees and managers, guiding policies and programs.
• Administer the full employee lifecycle for all locations including onboarding, transfers, promotions, terminations, and offboarding.
• Maintain confidential employee records in Paylocity and paper where applicable.
• Ensure HR processes are standardized across sites and aligned with local laws.
