You’ll handle employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations while fostering a safe, efficient workplace.

The role emphasizes coaching supervisors, coordinating performance reviews, and maintaining accurate HR records in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years HR Generalist experience in manufacturing/industrial settings preferred.
• Strong employee relations and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted HR resource for Nichols Brothers Boat Builders and Everett Ship Repair employees.
• Manage employee relations matters with sound judgment and consistency.
• Coach supervisors on difficult conversations and performance issues.
• Coordinate 90‑day and annual performance review cycles.
• Support recruiting: postings, applicant tracking, interviews, hiring decisions.
• Administer onboarding, benefits, leaves, and HRIS records.
