Job summary

Nelson Global Products Inc. is seeking an on-site Human Resources Generalist at our Oshkosh, WI facility. You will handle hourly recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, payroll, leave management, HR compliance, HRIS reporting, and safety initiatives.

The role demands 3+ years HR Generalist experience in manufacturing, strong knowledge of HR practices, and comfort with travel within Wisconsin as needed during startup phases. This position reports to the HR Manager and is exempt.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
• 2+ years hourly manufacturing recruiting experience
• 3+ years progressive HR Generalist experience in manufacturing
• Knowledge of HR best practices and legal compliance
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with time and attendance systems and HRIS

Responsibilities

• Recruit hourly talent, post openings, review resumes, interview, onboard new hires
• Serve as primary contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
• Coordinate health benefits, 401(k), and other perks
• Manage full-cycle payroll administration
• Oversee attendance policy, LOA, and FMLA programs
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
• Maintain HRIS data and generate HR-related reports
• Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
• Coordinate safety training and incident investigations
