Job summary

Independence Fire Sprinkler is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR needs, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and benefits administration. This 100% in-person role supports a busy construction office and shop environment and collaborates with Corporate HR and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience with significant Generalist work.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR needs including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and legal compliance.
• Coach managers on performance, documentation, corrective action, and career development.
• Assist with compensation planning, salary benchmarking, and merit reviews.
• Maintain HR records, HRIS systems, and comply with employment laws.
