Job summary

Pamal Broadcasting LTD. in Latham, NY is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to handle day-to-day HR operations across multiple companies, including onboarding, payroll support, benefits administration, and HRIS management.

The role requires independence, strong documentation, and a proactive approach to compliance. You will work on ADP Workforce Now, maintain confidential records, process COBRA and I-9 verification, and coordinate HR projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on HR experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or comparable HRIS/payroll software is a plus.
• Experience with onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, HRIS, employee records, and HR compliance.
• Excellent documentation, records management, and filing skills.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with numerical data.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits, including reporting changes and reconciling invoices.
• Partner with employees and management on HR policies, employment regulations, and compliance.
• Maintain accurate HRIS and employee records across multiple locations.
• Assist with weekly and biweekly payroll processing.
• Assist with onboarding through ADP Workforce Now and HRIS upkeep.
• Maintain organized employee documentation and confidential records.
• Manage HR documentation with accuracy and privacy.
• Complete agency reporting including annual surveys, disability, PFL, and OES.
• Process COBRA notifications and other separation notices.
• Verify Form I-9 documentation through E-Verify.
• Provide day-to-day HR administrative support across multiple companies and locations.
