Job summary

Intersurgical, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations on-site.

You will handle onboarding, HRIS maintenance, benefits, payroll support, compliance, and general HR administration across our Indianapolis locations. The role focuses on people and process, ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining accurate records, timely communications, and efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of Human Resources, recruiting, administrative, or related professional experience.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working with systems, technology, and employee data.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Previous experience with an HRIS or payroll system (ADP preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and employee lifecycle activities for Indianapolis locations.
• Maintain accurate employee information within HRIS and payroll systems.
• Assist with benefits enrollment, payroll changes, and leaves of absence.
• Support recruiting activities including job postings and candidate communications.
• Ensure I-9, E-Verify and compliance documentation are maintained.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team and partner with managers.
