Job summary

VPNE Parking Solutions LLC is seeking a Supply Chain Tech I for on-site evening shifts (Mon–Fri, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM) to support hospital supply chains. You will manage items, track orders, and communicate with clinical staff while ensuring safety and compliance in a healthcare setting.

The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, data entry into MMIS, and daily coordination with hospital departments to minimize shortages and improve stock turns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in customer relations or materials management or related area preferred.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain familiarity with supply items, nomenclature, units of measure, and product family; communicate with clinical staff.
• Use equipment to replenish supply items daily; report shortages.
• Monitor environment for safety; ensure compliance with policies incl. JCAHO.
• Access hospital computer system to communicate supply/equipment changes.
• Review Materials Matters for clinical product changes.
• Initiate, track, and verify receipt of supply orders.
• Enter inventory issuance and returns data into MMIS; calculate unit conversions.
• Contact customers daily about service concerns related to supply chain.
• Maintain neat, orderly clinical areas; rotate stock; check expiration dates; dispose waste.
• Create weekly service area reports with metrics on calls, costs, stock turns, expirations.
• Pursue ongoing knowledge through conferences and in-service programs.
