Job summary

OU Medical Center is seeking a Supply Chain Technician I for night shift (11:00 pm - 7:30 am) to manage receiving, storing, and delivering medical supplies across departments. You will scan inventories, generate replenishments, and support cart-based distribution while maintaining accurate MMIS records.

You will communicate with nursing units and clinics, ensure item expiration control, and help with special projects in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-3 years of professional experience preferred.
• Typing and computer skills required.
• Proficiency in MMIS.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Put away supplies in Med-Surge areas; not in OR/procedural areas.
• Scan inventory labels to generate replenishment orders for stock and non-stock items.
• Pick supplies for distribution and placement into Case Carts and restock Exchange Carts/Code Carts.
• Check product expiration dates and removal per policy.
• Deliver supplies to nursing units, clinics and other locations.
• Answer calls and emails; respond to customer service requests.
• Process issues and credits in MMIS ensuring costs are allocated correctly.
• Use handhelds, scanners, and various software programs.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure par locations are clean.
• Deliver supplies to nursing units and clinics using signature technologies.
