Job summary

Allied Universal in Ohio seeks a Security Shift Supervisor (Hospital) for a full-time role on a designated shift. You will oversee unarmed security at a high-profile hospital campus, enforce post orders, and deter incidents.

Responsibilities include directing officers, scheduling, training, and ensuring contract compliance and safety; requires strong communication, leadership, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Active military service, reserves, or National Guard count as qualification.
• Two years of verifiable work experience and one year of security experience required.
• Strong communication, organization and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to post orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates on duty performance.
• Cross-train officers to increase versatility and site efficiency.
• Recommend productivity and cost reductions to management.
• Recommend security surveys and updates to post orders.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and on-site training for shift personnel.
• Ensure training and screening elements are met for personnel.
• Maintain overtime at minimum or designated level.
• Inspect personnel and performance for contract compliance.
• Prepare incident reports and assist in security surveys.
