Job summary

CAMS, Community Association Management Services, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician Assistant to support on-site maintenance at a condominium complex in North Topsail Island, NC.

Responsibilities include handling work orders, coordinating with vendors, and performing preventative maintenance while ensuring safety for residents and visitors. The role requires at least 2 years of property maintenance experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 2 years of property maintenance or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required and clean driving record.
• Ability to navigate stairs and grounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to respond to after-hours emergency calls when needed.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life-safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance/work orders as directed by the head technician.
• Assist in overseeing contractors/vendors in the community.
• Maintain inventory and supplies for the property.
• Perform preventative maintenance on property, amenities, and grounds.
• Ensure a safe living environment for residents and visitors.
• Assist in contractor oversight and scheduling of services.
• Create/check maintenance checklists and report status to managers.
• Follow up on service requests to ensure high-quality service.
