Job summary

CAMS is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Custodial Worker to support upkeep of buildings and common areas for a large homeowners association in Myrtle Beach, SC. The role combines hands-on maintenance with daily custodial care to keep spaces clean and welcoming for residents and guests.

Hourly pay is $25.00. Responsibilities include inspecting areas, performing light repairs, basic plumbing/electrical tasks, and coordinating with vendors for upkeep while maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Previous maintenance, building operations or custodial experience preferred.
• Experience with painting, drywall patching, fixture replacement, minor plumbing repairs, and basic troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings and common areas daily to identify safety, maintenance, repair and cleanliness concerns.
• Perform routine light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, changing air filters, painting, drywall patching, and basic repairs.
• Assist with minor plumbing and electrical maintenance such as unclogging drains and replacing switches or outlets.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and seasonal upkeep to preserve buildings and equipment.
• Maintain and clean common areas, restrooms, clubhouse, meeting rooms, kitchens, and outdoor facilities.
• Monitor and report safety hazards or supply shortages to management.
