Job summary

APAC Alabama, Inc. seeks a Project Manager to direct roadway/highway projects from planning through completion. The role involves coordinating subcontractors, communicating with the DOT and project management consultants, and ensuring on-time, on-budget execution.

Strong scheduling, cost control, and leadership are essential. Qualified candidates have a Construction Management degree or equivalent and at least 3 years in civil construction management, with experience managing major highway

Qualifications

• Construction Management Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management.
• Experience managing a major civil highway construction project in the field.
• Experience using scheduling tools required.
• Personnel management and cost management experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates and is responsible for planning, organization, control, integration and completion of roadway/highway projects.
• Be the job site manager, create and manage project schedule.
• Coordinate project subcontractors and stakeholders including DOT representatives.
• Initiate and maintain liaison with Owner, Prime Contractor or Subcontractor.
• Monitor project safety and on-site activities with the Superintendent to meet schedule and budget.
• Manage delivery of materials, trucking, and subcontractor work.
