Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. is a leading self-performing heavy civil construction and construction materials company with offices across the Mid-Atlantic.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil projects, plan and coordinate work, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget goals are met. You will supervise project personnel, manage cost and profitability, and foster teamwork and client satisfaction while upholding Allan Myers' safety program and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or related major or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years construction experience, with at least one year construction supervisory experience preferred.
• FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) or PE (Professional Engineer) certification desirable.
• OSHA 30 hour required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develops plans and schedules with the Superintendent and Project Team to meet goals.
• Maximizes production, guarantees quality, minimizes costs, and promotes safety.
• Ensures all work and materials meet Allan Myers standards and specs.
• Monitors and coordinates project activities to keep progress on schedule and budget.
• Manages project cost and profitability; maintains monthly P&L.
• Fosters teamwork, morale, and retention through transparent communication.
• Maintains high client satisfaction through proactive communication.
• Oversees safety programs and subcontractor compliance.
• Supervises Superintendents, Senior Project Engineers, and other site staff.
