Job summary

Waste Management is seeking a Hospital Services Worker in Springfield, MA to travel between hospitals and proactively collect and exchange waste containers for WM Healthcare Solutions programs, including Sharps, Pharmaceutical Waste, and Document Management. The role operates on a regular schedule at multiple facilities in the area.

The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and meet immunization requirements; high school education or GED is preferred.

Qualifications

• On-site presence at WMHS customer locations.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Experience in customer service or equivalent preferred.
• Immunization requirements per customer facilities.

Responsibilities

• Travel between healthcare facilities to collect and exchange waste containers for WMHS programs.
• Maintain a rigid collection and service schedule.
• Interact professionally with onsite customer staff to meet service expectations.
• Communicate duty status on a scheduled basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
