Qualifications

• Excellent organization, customer service and communication skills.
• Moderate computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite Tools.
• Problem solving, good judgment, attention to detail and follow-through are a must.
• Ability to multi-task and work within multiple systems at the same time.
• Able to work with little or no supervision.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with patients via inbound and outbound phone calls.
• Provide knowledgeable answers to questions regarding medical bills and accounts.
• Understand and adhere to HIPAA and compliance requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service and timely responses to questions about benefits, billing, claims, payments, etc.
• Review insurance Explanation of Benefits to determine patient responsibility and write-offs.
• Explain charges and communicate policies regarding patient financial care services and resources.
