Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is seeking a Business Office Customer Service Representative. You will handle patient billing inquiries, document interactions, and coordinate with team leads to resolve issues.

The role blends in-office work with remote days, commonly two days in the office and three days remote, supporting high-quality patient care. Requirements include a High School diploma, 3+ years in healthcare call centers or medical insurance, and knowledge of billing rules, ICD10/CPT coding.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in a health care Call Center or medical insurance environment.
• Knowledge of insurance billing, rules, regulations and medical policies.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, ICD10 and CPT coding.
• Proficient with various software applications and online resources.
• Strong written communications and telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Answer patient telephone inquiries regarding billing, insurance information, collection accounts, and general patient concerns.
• Document findings and communication in the patient’s account and coordinate with team leads to resolve issues.
• Plan and organize work to ensure timely responses and quality productivity.
• Work independently and as part of a team to resolve inquiries on first contact when possible.
