• Knowledge of revenue cycle including admissions, billing, payments, and denials.

Responsibilities

• Review referred uninsured/under-insured patients for program eligibility and initiate the application.
• Communicate with patients to collect documents required for the application.
• Process applications through determination, updating insurance information and posting billing/adjustments.
• Document actions and communications in patient accounting systems.
• Maintain knowledge of state and federal program requirements and share with team.
• Develop relationships with Medicaid/agency partners and collaborate with revenue cycle teams.
