Job summary

ChemTreat is seeking an on-site Operator II, Production in Ashland, VA. You will safely package containers, support blending operations, and maintain equipment with a focus on health and safety. The role supports the Manufacturing department, reporting to the Production & Shipping Supervisor.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to procedures, and hands-on operation of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in a dynamic facility. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience with chemicals preferred.
• High School diploma; OSHA and DOT knowledge preferred.
• Forklift operation experience or ability.

Responsibilities

• Package various sizes of finished products into designated containers.
• Perform basic Ignition functions and initiate rinse cycles.
• Attach barcodes and identify NCM material.
• Pull materials and coordinate with Blend Operator.
• Blend products using hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Ensure safety equipment is worn and area clean.
• Coordinate information with other departments.
• Back-up Blend Operator when necessary.
• Back-up Bulk loader.
• Other duties as assigned.
