Job summary

ChemTreat, Inc. in Ashland, VA is seeking an Operator II, Production to safely help package containers and support blending operations in a on-site manufacturing setting.

You will monitor equipment, ensure materials are available, perform sampling, and coordinate with the Blend Operator and Production Foreman while upholding health and safety standards with PPE. This role offers on-site work and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience with chemicals preferred.
• High School diploma; OSHA/DOT familiarity preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Package various sizes of finished products into designated containers.
• Perform basic Ignition functions and open/close blend valves.
• Place barcodes on finished products identifying NCM material.
• Ensure materials are available when needed.
• Pull samples for Blend Operator and maintain communication.
• Blend finished goods using hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Coordinate information with other departments.
