Job summary

ChemTreat is a leading specialty chemical company focused on industrial water treatment, with a strong North American footprint. The Operator II, Production role is based in Ashland, VA, on-site, within the Manufacturing department.

You will support packaging, blending, and process control, ensuring safe, efficient operations and accurate material handling. The position emphasizes safe forklift operation, adherence to OSHA/DOT guidelines, and collaboration with the Production Foreman and Blend

Qualifications

• 1 year experience with chemicals preferred.
• High School diploma; OSHA/DOT regulation familiarity preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Package various sizes of finished products into designated containers.
• Perform basic functions in Ignition (open/close blend vat valve; initiate rinse cycle).
• Place barcodes on finished products identifying NCM material.
• Pull materials as needed and communicate with Blend Operator.
• Blend finished goods using hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Notify Production Foreman/Blend Operator of problems.
• Coordinate information with other departments.
• Ensure safety equipment is worn and stored properly.
• Verify floor scales accuracy and maintain clean hoses and equipment.
