Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Hazardous/Waste Services Associate to support client facilities with hazardous and non-hazardous waste management in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities include packing, labeling, manifesting, and shipping waste per contract, maintaining safety policies, and assisting with pickups and recycling of materials. Training provided includes HAZWOPER, Safety, and DOT.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED.
• Two to four years of forklift experience.
• Two to four years of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional image with clients by answering inquiries and suggesting solutions to existing and potential problems.
• Manage onsite customer's hazardous and non-hazardous waste needs per the contract.
• Comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Palletize drums and arrange for pickup.
• Unload trucks using a forklift or tugger; pick-up and pack recyclables.
