Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking an on-site environmental technician to provide hazardous and non-hazardous waste services in compliance with state and federal regulations. The role involves packing, labeling, manifesting, and shipping waste per contract terms, with focus on safety and client service.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, ensuring regulatory paperwork accuracy, and supporting on-site teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BS in Chemistry or related science preferred.
• Prior work experience in hazardous waste or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site hazardous and non-hazardous waste services per contract.
• Maintain professional image and address client inquiries with solutions.
• Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure DOT/RCRA/EPA paperwork accuracy to expedite disposal.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely to complete projects timely.
• Understand contract terms and follow through on assignments.
• May assist in training OS I/II personnel as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
