Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Grounds Technician to join our on-site operations team and support a positive resident experience. You will maintain the community's upkeep, manage grounds, and assist with irrigation while collaborating with staff and residents.

Qualifications

• Snow/ice removal and salt spreading during winter.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
• Must lift at least 20 lbs and push/pull up to 80 lbs.
• Irrigation experience is a plus.
• Maintain a professional appearance following dress code.
• Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers.
• Basic computer skills; comfortable with software/apps.
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• General upkeep and cleanliness of the apartment community.
• Upkeep of parking lots, grounds, corridors, stairwells, and common areas.
• Collecting and removing trash as needed.
• Weeding of beds using appropriate tools.
• Monitor irrigation systems to ensure lawns are watered.
• Repairing or replacing sprinkler heads and lines as required.
• Report unhealthy lawn, trees, shrubs, or plants to management.
• Edging around trees and landscape borders for neat appearance.
• Raking grounds and blowing or sweeping sidewalks and lots.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
