Job summary

Applied Research Associates, Inc. is seeking an On-site International Technical Program Lead to coordinate multi-week overseas site visits, manage field logistics, and ensure export/import compliance while briefing government stakeholders.

You will start as understudy and transition to full leadership, interfacing with government staff and partner nations on complex technical programs. The role emphasizes planning, execution, documentation, and long-term strategic engagement across multi-year

Qualifications

Active DoW TS/SCI clearance required.
BS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with 8–10 years experience or MS/PhD with 6–8 years.
Experience planning and managing field projects including logistics and security constraints.
Strong ability to build relationships and brief customers.
Willingness to learn and apply new technologies to diverse problems.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, execute, and document multi-week overseas technical assessments.
Lead onsite technical work and develop materials for US Government stakeholders.
Manage field logistics including travel, export/import considerations, equipment readiness, and personnel coordination.
Support long-term strategy and relationship building with partners and agreements.
Ensure compliance with international agreements, security instructions, and export regulations.
