Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a candidate to assist with cylinder ordering, manage inventories on-site and at remote facilities, and ensure proper handling and billing procedures. The role involves heavy physical labor and adherence to safety standards across NFPA guidelines.

Responsibilities include coordinating plant communications, performing cylinder tracking, and supporting order entry and customer interactions with clinical and facilities staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education or trade skills are preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with customers and internal teams.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance to enter refineries and chemical plants.
• Knowledge of cylinder hazards is a significant plus.
• Ability and willingness to safely move heavy loads on a routine basis (up to 1200 lbs with wheeled carts) and to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cylinder ordering, including plant communication and coordination.
• On-site management of existing local inventories and remote facility locations.
• Support cylinder disbursement while following NFPA handling procedures.
• Handle cylinder billing, cylinder tracking, and JD Edwards interactions.
• Interact with customers such as facilities support staff and clinical staff.
• Assist with JD Edwards order entry, cylinder tracking, and order selection.
• Manage inventory for both in-use and depleted cylinders to meet environment-of-care standards.
• Identify sales opportunities and communicate internally.
