Job summary

Linde plc in Jessup, MD is seeking a 2nd shift warehouse technician to support cylinder handling, loading, unloading and filling in a GMP-compliant environment.

You will count cylinders, inspect for defects, and maintain filling records while meeting DOT and FDA requirements. Strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to work outdoors are essential; prior manufacturing or logistics experience is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to read DOT and FDA paperwork.
  • Able to lift up to 50–100 pounds and work outdoors in varying temperatures.
  • Manufacturing or logistics experience preferred; forklift training is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Count incoming cylinders and verify lot numbers; load/unload trucks.
  • Inspect returned cylinders for defects and transfer to quarantine areas.
  • Ensure calibration of equipment and maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Operate a forklift and hand truck for warehouse movements.
  • Fill cylinders following guidelines and complete pre-fill and post-fill inspections.

What you will enjoy doing*
  • Inthis role you will adhere to all Linde plc Safety Policies, including properuse of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe lifting techniques, andsitespecific safety requirements
  • You will apply basic GoodManufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality Control pronciples to all tasks
  • Count incoming cylinders, verify lotnumbers and load/unload trucks as required
  • Responsible for inspecting returned cylinders for surface defects andfollowing procedures for safe handling and storage
  • Identify and separate defective cylinders from production and transfer themto designated quarantine areas
  • You will review, document and confiirm proper calibration of equipmentensuring all equipment to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance
  • Safely operate a forklift and hand truck to suppport loading,unloading and warehouse material movement
  • Fillcylinders in accordance with established guidelines,including completing allrequired pre-fill and post-fill inspections and maintaining cylinder fillingrecords in compliance with applicable regulations

Pay Range: $23.56-$34.59
