Job summary

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a hands-on Cylinder Coordinator in Signal Hill, CA. You will assist with cylinder ordering, on-site inventory management, and coordination with remote facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education or trade skills preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with customers and internal plant teams.
• Computer literacy required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance to enter refineries and chemical plants.
• Knowledge of cylinder hases is a plus.
• Must be able to safely move heavy loads (up to 1200 lbs) and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cylinder ordering and plant communication, coordinating on-site management of inventories and remote facilities.
• Support cylinder disbursement following NFPA 99 chapter 9 procedures; physical labor involved.
• Perform cylinder billing using JD Edwards, Accustar Handheld, and Cylinder Tracking systems.
• Interact with facilities staff, clinical staff, and facility administrators as needed.
• Manage inventory for in-use and depleted cylinders and maintain patient floor inventory for environment-of-care standards.
