Job summary

LV Petroleum LLC in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Financial Analyst, FP&A to join our corporate Finance team. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and performance analysis across our growing locations.

The ideal candidate has 1-3 years of relevant financial analysis experience, strong Excel and financial modeling skills, and an interest in working directly with operational and financial data.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or business intelligence.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, and financial modeling).
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Perform monthly variance analysis; explain drivers and suggest actions.
• Prepare and update financial forecasts using operational inputs for petroleum operations.
• Participate in capital planning; evaluate projects and track costs vs. budget.
• Build financial models to support forecasting and ROI analysis.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis on cost optimization, pricing, inventory, and capital projects.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Supply Chain to gather data for forecasting.
• Maintain FP&A tools and templates (Excel, Power BI) for budgeting and planning.
• Contribute to process automation and long-term strategic initiatives.
