Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage hourly Food Safety Sanitors and Lead Persons in designated departments to ensure safe, efficient operations and compliance with policies.

In this on-site role you will apportion work, supervise day-to-day activities, support training, and drive continuous improvement in sanitation. Strong leadership and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• 6+ months sanitation experience required
• Leadership and decision-making skills required
• General working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office
• Ability to wear PPE
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of hourly sanitation staff and lead personnel in designated departments
• Direct work assignments and ensure safe, efficient performance of sanitation tasks
• Ensure compliance with governmental, customer, and company policies
• Evaluate staff for promotions or changes in status
• Support training programs including safety training and ERP systems
• Report and investigate all accidents
• Other duties as assigned
