Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Semiconductor Process Engineer for the Focal Plane Array team in Mason, OH. You will support wafer fabrication tools and processes, perform data analysis, and drive process optimization and qualification activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with vendors, operations, maintenance, and development engineering teams to enable production-ready solutions while maintaining safety, ISO/ANSI compliance, and the ability to obtain US

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• 3 years of experience working in a Class 100 cleanroom or similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and own production processes using semiconductor techniques.
• Use MES for operations management and process tracking.
• Qualify and operate semiconductor wafer equipment for III-V manufacturing.
• Monitor SPC and FDC; detect drifts and excursions.
• Perform DOE and process verification for new tools.
• Conduct data-driven root cause investigations.
• Implement improvements for efficiency, cost, reliability, and quality.
• Maintain detailed process documentation.
• Ensure ISO/ANSI safety compliance and maintain a safe workplace.
• Train and mentor technicians and engineers on equipment and procedures.
• Ability to obtain US security clearance.
