Job summary

UniGroup is seeking a Fleet Operations Planner to optimize shipment routing and fleet utilization across our transportation network. You will collaborate with agents, van operators, vendors, and internal teams to ensure on-time pickup and delivery and to maximize service quality.

The role focuses on solving complex operational challenges in a fast-paced logistics environment, balancing multiple priorities, and making informed decisions that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of related work experience.
• Experience with routing, load planning, or capacity management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, approve, and route shipments to optimize fleet utilization and service performance.
• Monitor workflow systems and determine actions for orders and adjustments.
• Collaborate with agents, van operators, and internal partners on route assignments.
• Support express shipments and develop solutions for non-standard orders.
• Maximize line haul revenue and monitor available capacity.
