Job summary

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance for fleet vehicles and equipment.
• Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance & Repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.
• Candidates should possess experience working with Heavy Equipment commonly used in oil and gas or industrial environments.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
• Experience with diesel engines, braking systems, and trailer repair is beneficial.
• Knowledge of safety practices and regulations relevant to shop and field operations is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical documentation is helpful.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive or diesel technology is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is an advantage.
• Ability to work in outdoor and industrial conditions and lift moderate to heavy loads as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment used in water transfer operations.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance and diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues.
• Complete repairs in a timely manner and document all work performed.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with operations staff to minimize equipment downtime and maintain a clean work area.
