Job summary

Pape’ Material Handling, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Periodic Maintenance Technician to join their team. Do you love working on equipment and turning wrenches, and are you looking to grow your skills as a mechanic?

You will travel to customer locations to perform periodic maintenance on all makes and models of forklifts, as well as minor repairs to keep equipment in peak form and maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• 1+ years servicing electric and internal combustion lift trucks and construction equipment.
• Self-motivated and assertive.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic maintenance on forklifts and minor repairs (lights, belts, engine tune-ups, hoses).
• Ensure customer equipment is properly maintained and uptime is maximized.
• Travel to customer locations in a fully equipped Pape’ service vehicle and provide excellent service.
