C100 Quaker Houghton PA, Inc. is seeking an entry-level laboratory technician in Batavia, New York, to conduct routine chemical and physical analyses on various materials. This role requires a high school diploma and excellent communication and computer skills.

Under close supervision, perform routine chemical and physical analyses on a limited variety of materials to support fluid analysis, research and development, and production activities.
Work in a laboratory and administrative office setting, with some travel as required. Maintain a safety mindset throughout the designated area of responsibility. The employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and occasionally work near moving mechanical parts. Work may involve moderate noise levels.
Regularly manipulate samples, apparatus, and sensitive instruments with precision. Frequently stand and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally walk, sit, talk, or hear. Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds (or as allowed by local regulations). Requires close vision and ability to adjust focus.
High School Diploma, GED, or similar required. This is an entry‑level position for a new lab employee with 0–1 years of experience.
Salary range: $19.00–$21.00 per hour (adjusted for experience, location, and other factors). Sign‑on bonus $3,000. Company‑provided uniforms.
