Job summary

PHNX Materials Inc. seeks an entry-level Lab Technician to support the demonstration plant operations. You will own sample collection and analysis, including preparing solid and liquid samples, running analyses, and performing wet bench chemistry.

This hands-on role offers daily exposure to modern analytical instrumentation in an operational environment. You will maintain meticulous lab notebooks, enter data into our records system, and follow safety protocols with PPE.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of laboratory experience
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined record-keeping habits
• Comfort working with acids and other lab chemicals with proper training and PPE. Safety first.
• Willingness to learn multiple instruments and techniques; we will provide training.

Responsibilities

• Collect, label, and prepare solid and liquid samples for analysis.
• Analyze samples using lab equipment and sample prep.
• Perform wet bench chemistry: titrations, filtration, and solution preparation.
• Maintain detailed lab notebooks and enter data into our records system.
• Keep lab spaces organized, maintain instruments, track consumables, and follow safety protocols.
