Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking a Patch Manager Field Systems Technologist for Navy ELMR to perform patching operations across Windows, RHEL, and databases on a global enterprise.

This on-site role requires US citizenship and entails up to 25% travel to support enterprise system maintenance, with responsibilities spanning pre- and post-sale activities and reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in IT systems administration and TCP/IP networks.
• Ability to obtain DoD clearance and security certifications.
• Experience with Windows, RHEL, and Active Directory administration.

Responsibilities

• Implement system and security patch updates for enterprise systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot patching issues under high-stress conditions.
• Maintain clear verbal and written communication.
• Support Master Site FSTs and engineering teams in daily maintenance.
• Travel up to 25% annually for regional support.
• Obtain and maintain DoD Secret-level clearance per SOFA requirements.
