Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Patch Manager Field Systems Technologist (FST) for Navy ELMR to perform patching operations across the global enterprise. The role is 100% on-site at a U.S. military base and requires US citizenship and SOFA comprehension.

You will manage updates on Windows, RHEL, and SQL databases while coordinating with EURAFCENT and other teams. Ideal candidates will have IT systems administration experience, security certifications, and the ability to travel up to 25%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; DoD-related IT experience preferred.
• Experience in Windows/Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration.
• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and IT systems administration.
• Must obtain/maintain DoD security clearance as required.

Responsibilities

• Implement system and security patch updates across enterprise environments.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot patching issues in high-stress settings.
• Maintain clear verbal and written communication with teams.
• Support master/site/fleet operations with routine maintenance.
• Travel up to 25% annually for enterprise system maintenance.
