Job summary

Amada America, Inc. is seeking a field service technician to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems and to install equipment at customer sites. You will read blueprints, prepare daily service reports, and maintain strong customer relations.

Travel within assigned territory is routine, with occasional overnight stays. A 4-year Electronics degree or 2-year degree with related experience is preferred; proficiency with oscilloscope and volt-ohm meters and

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge to analyze and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical and electrical systems.
• Proficient with hand tools, volt/ohm meter and oscilloscope.
• Working knowledge of computers and Windows OS.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Accountable and responsible for servicing and supporting customers throughout ownership of the machine.

Responsibilities

• Manage the total equipment installation process at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and repair multiple system types.
• Prepare daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
• Travel within assigned territories, with occasional overnight stays.
• Communicate effectively in English with customers and team.
