Job summary

Amada in Concord, CA seeks a field service technician to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems and to install equipment according to layout drawings and blueprints.

The role requires daily reporting, English communication, strong customer relations, and regular travel within the territory. You will train on Amada software for line control and part programming, with lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Electronics or 2-year with related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical and electrical systems.
• Follow layout drawings and blueprints for equipment installation.
• Complete daily service reports and weekly expense reports.
• Communicate in English.
• Provide excellent customer relations and follow through.
• Manage equipment installation at customer site, including use of hand tools and climbing.
• Operate Amada applications software used in line control and part programming.
• Travel regularly within assigned territories.
