Job summary

Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform on-site services for hydraulic and related equipment in the Pittsburgh area. You will diagnose problems, perform repairs and installations, and provide customer training while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The role requires a technical degree and 3–5 years of related experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to work on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a technical degree and 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and operate shop equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including emergency repairs and upgrades.
• Diagnose problems, document findings, and determine repair or part replacement needs.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on maintenance aspects of system equipment.
• Lead small to moderate projects at customer sites and assist less experienced technicians.
