Job summary

Motion is seeking a Field Service Technician II to perform on-site services for equipment and systems, including hydraulics, repair, and preventive maintenance with regional responsibility. The role includes installation, diagnostics and emergency repairs on a 24/7 on-call basis.

You will communicate technical information to customers, document findings and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. A technical degree and 3–5 years of related experience are typical; leadership of small projects

Qualifications

Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
Ability to operate shop equipment safely.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work effectively with customers, peers and management to resolve client issues.

Responsibilities

Performs on-site services for new and existing clients, including on-site emergency repairs and equipment upgrades.
Responsible for installation, diagnostics, repair and support for equipment at customer sites.
Diagnose problems, document findings, and decide on repair or parts replacement.
Lead small to moderate projects at customer sites.
Provide technical support and training to customers on system equipment.
