Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Service Engineer II to provide technical support for turbine configurations, generators, and auxiliary equipment, including rapid resolution of NCRs and ESRs. You will collaborate with field service and long-term teams to drive quality improvements, reduce costs, and keep Mitsubishi Power products competitive.

The role involves data collection, root cause analysis, and close coordination with field outages and Japan engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of engineering design or service-related experience.
• Knowledge of turbine configuration, design, boundary conditions, temperatures, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret industry reports, technical journals, specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Ability to prepare technical reports, customer correspondence, and presentations.
• Ability to perform calculations to meet technical requirements.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates core competencies: action oriented, change champion, customer-focused, ownership.
• Provide technical support for field inspections and issue resolution on turbine configurations with minimal supervision.
• Review field measurements against manufacturing drawings.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using the 8D RCA process.
• Analyze fleet operating data and communicate findings to improve design and reliability.
• Prepare work instructions and recommend process improvements for inspections and service tasks.
• Support outage planning, service product development, and participate in field outages.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and ISO 9001; report unsafe conditions.
• Perform peer reviews of engineering deliverables and use service systems for documentation.
